Atte Kekkonen appointed Senior Advisor at Trailmaker

Atte Kekkonen has been appointed Senior Advisor at Trailmaker. Kekkonen has a broad international background in corporate leadership, private equity and entrepreneurship, including CEO roles at Kuusakoski Recycling and Advania Finland, and extensive experience in investment management.

Currently working with Nordic Private Equities, Kekkonen has long been aware of Trailmaker through his professional networks. He has been a believer in the concept from the start and his experiences as a customer have only further validated that belief.

Kekkonen says companies often fail in strategic change due to miscalculated pacing and lack of execution power, and that they often launch into transformations without a clear vision.

“The biggest failure point is the beginning. Companies try to do too much at once and expect immediate results which leads to them getting stuck. Even when execution does start, progress is slower than expected because they’ve already overloaded themselves.”

He says that Trailmaker has solved these issues with a systematic, impactful approach to leading strategic change that cuts through the noise and forces action.

According to him, there’s a real need for Trailmaker’s services at the moment, as strategic change is what more Finnish companies should strive for.

“Finland is an SME-driven economy, and too many mid-sized companies are standing still. Incremental improvements are not enough, we need real strategic changes that enable genuine growth.”
